Cristian Morello is an Italian composer, arranger, and music educator whose work bridges jazz, classical, and contemporary traditions. He began his musical journey as a baritone in the choir Jubilate Deo of S. Domenica di Ricadi (Italy) before studying classical and later jazz guitar with Antonio Grillo. After earning a Diploma in Pop/Rock Guitar from the JUL Music School in Cosenza, he graduated with honors in Jazz Composition and Arranging from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan, and later completed his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
His music combines narrative clarity, lyrical orchestration, and cross-genre influences inspired by film scoring, impressionism, and postmodern jazz. Alongside his creative work, he teaches harmony, composition, ear training, and orchestration in Italy and the Netherlands. Driven by a vision of inclusive, non-dogmatic music education, he strives to connect classical, jazz, and contemporary idioms through both his teaching and compositions.
